Pont Des Mouton Shooting Leaves Man In Critical Condition

At 11:00 am Wednesday Lafayette City Police responded to a shooting at 412 East Pont Des Mouton. According to witnesses the victim was in the home with several people when the shooting occurred. The victim was shot multiple times and transported to a local hospital where he is listed in critical condition. Investigating officers are questioning witnesses in an attempted to identify a suspect and determine a motive for the shooting.
