Possible Gulf Pollution

The Coast Guard reports that testing of an area of possible pollution it investigated in the Gulf of Mexico over the weekend contains only trace amounts of hydrocarbons, oil and grease.  Officials say the dark substance is likely the result of sediment carried down the Mississippi River by high water, further agitated by dredging operations.
