Potential Problem For Jindal’s Proposed Expansion Of Private School Vouchers

A day after we find out school superintendents across the state want more accountability from Governor Jindal's proposed expansion of private school vouchers, we now know how many students would be eligible.

As many as 380,000 students would be eligible for the aid. But Louisiana's Catholic schools would only be able to take about 1,000 children. That would greatly limit the capacity of whatever program gets legislative approval.
