Darn it. We won't be spending the rest of the week relaxing on a Jamaican beach sipping fruity drinks and having a person assigned to keep the sand off of our towels.

You didn't win the Powerball Jackpot last night. Come to think of it, neither did I. I guess that makes us almost related. I am sure if either one of us did win the Powerball we'd both be looking up that family tree to see if were though.

Wednesday night's drawing in the national Powerball Lottery game did not produce a new multi-millionaire. If you missed the numbers from last night's drawing they were:

2-25-33-39-64 with a Powerball of 17

That means the projected $282 million jackpot will now rollover to Saturday night's drawing where the estimated jackpot will be $314 million. Let me tell you that is a lot of reasons to spend a buck or two and give it a try.

The Powerball game features several different ways to win on each drawing. There was no big jackpot winner and nobody won the Match 5 with Powerplay which is worth $2 million. However, there is a winning ticket that was sold in Texas that is worth $1 million for the Match 5 game.

The next drawing is just before 10 PM Saturday night. Remember ticket sales must end at least one  hour before the drawing so if you choose to play you'll need to have your tickets in hand before 9 PM Saturday night.
