Lake Charles Convict Writes Threatening Letter To Obama, Prison Stay Extended

Carlton Neil Norah was behind bars whenever sent a letter to the Commander In Chief with threatening messages and this has landed him more jail time.

U.S. District Court Judge Patricia Minaldi sentenced him to five years for writing the letter.

While inside the Oakdale Correctional Complex, he wouldn't be able to act on any of the threats, says his defense attorney.The attorney also asked to the court to review the "bizarre nature" of the letter and to consider that he is mentally ill.

Norah apologized to the court about the letter.
