Project Front and the Environmental Quality Division of Lafayette Consolidated Government (LCG) will once again host the annual Trash Bash to be held on April 9, 2016. Citizens of all ages are invited to help clean up Lafayette’s streets, roadways and waterways and create a litter-free community.

During Trash Bash 2016, individuals and community groups will help liberate Lafayette Parish from litter! There is no cost to participate, although all interested parties must register online through Eventbrite, at www.lafayettela.gov or by phone at 337-291-5636.

The deadline to register is April 7th.

The first 100 volunteers who register will receive a free “Trash Bash 2016” t-shirt. After the cleanup, all participants are invited to enjoy food and drinks, with entertainment provided by Chris Segura Trio.

This community cleanup effort is scheduled for Saturday, April 9 from 7:00 a.m. until noon. Beaver Park Pavilion, located at 350 Fisher Road, will serve as Headquarters for the day. Participants are asked to return to Headquarters by 11:30 a.m. for food, drinks, and entertainment.
