June is Men's Health Month, and today Dr. Brad Roth, urologist,  joined "Mornings With Ken & Bernie" to talk about the importance of an annual prostate screening.

Lafayette General Medical Center helped us contact Dr. Roth to join us to talk about the prevelance, testing and treatment in relation to prostate cancer.  Dr. Roth wants to remind every man who has a male family member, father, brother or uncle with prostate cancer that they should begin getting their annual test at the age of 40.  It's age 50 if you don't meet that criteria.

Roth adds that it is so important for the annual test because often men do not have symptoms of prostate cancer until it is to late, and the cancer has spread to another part of the body.
