Public Comments For Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office Tonight

As part of the fourth re-accreditation of the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office there will be a public meeting for comments tonight.

Since Monday, the Sheriff's Office has been taking part in the re-accreditation process by the Commission on Accreditation on Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc.

The Commission says there at four areas that they are looking at including:

The public information session will be held tonight, Tuesday, April 14 starting at 6:00 p.m. at the Public Safety Complex at 1825 West Willow Street.

Comments are limited to ten minutes and must focus on the office's abitlity to comply with the commission's standards.
