Public Defender Backlog Reaches 3,000 In Lafayette Parish [VIDEO]

Assistant Public Defender Caitlin Graham says the backlog for defendants waiting for a public defender has topped 3,000. That's compared to about 200 on the waiting list in Orleans Parish. Graham points to a number of funding issues with the backlog. She sat down for an interview along with Holly Howatt on Acadiana's Morning News.
