Soon you will get the chance to voice your concerns about a possible closure. The public will get a chance to voice their opinions on the possible closure of the Lafayette mail processing and  distribution center during a public hearing on November 7th.  The US postal service is considering a closure here, and in 252 other processing  centers  nationwide.  The Lafayette City-Parish Council is scheduled to vote today  on  a  resolution in support  of  keeping  the  Moss  Street  facility  open.  The public hearing will be held  next week at the Moss Street location.
