Racist Text Message Gets Morgan City Fire Captain Suspended

A Morgan City fire captain is suspended after sending a racist text message to the city 's former chief. Captain Andrew Radcliffe Jr.'s text was in the form of a joke about a carload of black people being run over by a big rig. Current Fire Chief Morris Price says suspension is adequate punishment for Radcliffe, but he believes Radcliffe doesn't deserve to be fired over the message. Price says Radcliffe is profoundly sorry for his error, and should be given a second chance.
