Louisiana Ragin' Cajun basketball forward Shawn Long can add another honor to his 2014-15 resume, as he's been named to the NABC All-District 24 1st team.

Long, who has already been named to the Lou Henson All-America team, averaged a double-double on the season of 16.4 points and 10.2 rebounds per game this season. His 52 double-doubles over his 3 year career at Louisiana is 3rd most among active players.

In the season finale loss last night to Evansville, Long scored 24 points and grabbed 11 boards.

As a junior, there is speculation that Long may forego his senior season and declare for the NBA draft.

"I'm not thinking about that right now," said Long after last night's game when asked about his future. "Right now I'm just going to take some time and get my body right."

Long was a two-time 1st team all Sun Belt selection the past two years.
