Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun football team have agreed to face the Texas A&M Aggies at a newly renovated Kyle Field in College Station, Texas, on September 16th, 2017.

“Once again, I think that says a lot about where our program is going,” says UL head coach Mark Hudspeth. “Because now with the strength of schedule being so important for the Power Five and getting into the national playoff picture, your strength of schedule has to be good. It will be a great challenge going into a newly renovated stadium and facing a program with a lot of excitement and momentum.”

The Cajuns have never defeated an SEC team, but do have one victory over the Aggies.

It will be the seventh meeting between the Cajuns and Aggies. All matchups have taken place in College, Station, with the exception of one.

Cajuns fans will never forget September 14, 1996. Reminisce with a video of Britt Jackson's pick six, helping Louisiana (then USL) upset the 25th ranked Aggies.
