Railroad Repairs This Week In St. Mary Parish

The Acadiana Region of the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development says there will be two days of a road closure in St. Mary Parish Wednesday and Thursday.

Wednesday, July 23, starting at 6 a.m., Highway 317 about 0.3 of a mile south of Highway 90 will be closed for railroad repairs.  The work is expected to last until 6 o'clock that evening, weather permitting.

The detour will be Alice C. Road and Highway 182.

The same closure will take place during the same time frame on Thursday, July 24
