There's still a burn ban in effect for most of Louisiana, including Lafayette Parish, but we'll see some rain tomorrow and tomorrow night.

Daniel Phillips of KATC says that we'll see clouds for most of the day Monday with spotty rain until later in the evening, when heavier rain is expected.

The totals are only predicted to be between a half - inch and an inch. This won't be enough to affect the drought conditions, but Daniel says it's a start of a pattern change that will lead to more rain and some cooler weather. Temperatures will be closer to normal, though not cool enough to the chill in the air we're used to at this time of year.
