Rap Artist Arrested On Drug Charges
(St. Martinville, La.)-Early Saturday morning, the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Narcotics Division, along with State Police and DEA, conducted an investigation in the Breaux Bridge area regarding a complaint received of possible drug trafficking. As a result of this investigation, Reggie Smith, aka "Big UNK", was found in connection with 150 pounds of Marijuana.
A Search Warrant was executed on the residence of Reggie Smith where Agents located illegal narcotics, $500,000.00 worth of jewelry, and over $72,000.00 dollars in U.S. Currency.
Also arrested as a result of the investigation were Keith Jean Lewis, Breaux Bridge, and Cameka Stroggins, Breaux Bridge. The street value for the narcotics seized was over $250,000.00 dollars.
Mr. Smith, Mr. Jean Lewis, and Ms. Stroggins were all booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on the following charge:
Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana.
