This Friday, September 30, people will see a rare 'Black Moon' across the universe. In the United States it will occur at 8:11 ET, which makes it 7:11 CST here in Louisiana. The last time this happened was two years ago, and it won't occur again until 2019, so don't miss out on this cool event!

If you are wondering just what the heck a 'Black Moon' is, you're not alone. It is when there is a second new moon in the same month. When this occurs you'll ONLY be able to see the dark side of the moon, and according to our friends at NASA, the stars will be extra bright that night.
