Rayne Appeals FEMA’s Denial

Rayne Mayor Jimbo Petijean tells KPEL news he's appealing FEMA's decision to deny storm victims financial assistance. 

More than one hundred home owners homes were damaged or destroyed in the storm.  Petijean is working with Governor Bobby Jindal's office on the state appeal.
