Rayne Family Finds Human’s Skeletal Remains

An investigation continues after a family in Rayne found skeletal remains of a human in the woods near Zaunbrecher Road over the weekend.  The Acadia Sheriff's Office is not treating the death as suspicious at this point since they have no reports of anyone missing in the Rayne area.  The remains are being sent to LSU in an effort to determine the identity of the person and a cause of death.
