Rayne Man Facing Drug, Gun Charges

RAYNE, La. (KPEL) -- A Rayne man was arrested after police discovered the former felon allegedly had a firearm and was selling drugs.

According to Criminal Investigator Richard Gray, police executed a search warrant at the Louisa Street home of 31-year-old Dominick Mott.

Inside, police found a firearm, Codeine, and more than $11,000 in cash.

Dominick was charged with felon in possession of a firearm, possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), and selling CDS.
