Rayne Police Arrest Woman For Stabbing

Monday night at 10:30 Rayne Police officers responded to a fight in progress at the Rain Tree Apartment Complex. On arrival police found a 30 year old man with a stab wound to the abdomen. He was transported to a local hospital where he is in stable condition. 25 year old Angel Rector of Rayne was arrested and charged with aggravated second degree battery. The incident remains under investigation.
