Update: 17-year-old Kaylor Sinegal has been arrested in the shooting in Rayne Monday that left a victim in a nearby hospital. Sinegal is now charged with attempted 2nd degree murder.  His bond is set at a quarter-million dollars.


Rayne Police need your help trying to find a person accused of shooting another person Monday afternoon.

Chief Carroll Stelly says the incident happened around 6:00 p.m. The victim was shot in the stomach and was in surgery at the time this was written. The suspect is Kyler Sinegal of 402 Live Oak Street in Rayne. Police say he should be considered armed and dangerous.
