Rep. Cassidy Hires Jindal’s Top Campaign Strategist For Re-election Effort

Republican Representative Bill Cassidy has hired Jindal's top campaign strategist to work on his 2012 re-election effort.

Timmy Teepell will be Cassidy's new consultant, further adding to speculation Cassidy may launch a 2014 challenge to U.S. Senator Mary Landrieu.

Teepell said Cassidy's campaign is the only Louisiana campaign on which he'll be working this year. Cassidy has no announced opponents.
