Former New Orleans Saints and current Seattle Seahawks cornerback Brandon Browner is being investigated for allegedly assaulting the father of his child's mother, according to a report from TMZ Sports.

TMZ confirms with the Ponoma Police Department in California they were called to investigate an incident of Browner allegedly attacking his child's grandfather in the driveway of the mother of the child's home.

The victim claims his hand was injured in the alleged incident.

Browner left the home before police arrived.

His one season with the Saints was tumultuous.

After signing a 3-year, $15 million deal with New Orleans last offseason, Browner stated shortly thereafter at a Seahawks charity softball game he’d love to play for Seattle again one day. One year later, he's on the Seahawks roster.

Last season he led the NFL in penalties for a team ranked near the bottom of the league in defense. He was constantly beat in coverage, blowing up at the local media after a loss.

New Orleans released him a few months ago. He made $5 million last year.

Five weeks ago, he engaged with fans on his Instagram account, claiming he "took millions" from the Saints and "ran with it".
