The stories of students who attended T. M. Landry Preparatory School in Breaux Bridge went viral this year. One video of a student opening his acceptance email from Harvard has been viewed more than eight million times. But a new bombshell report in the New York Times blows the lid off what they call a scheme to falsify applications. The story published in today's issue says the school added false details from grades, to extracurricular activities to awards and honors. Interviews with parents, teachers and students also allege a pattern of abuse, according to the report.
