According to a report from the World Trade Center of New Orleans, a 20% increase in products from Louisiana are being exported World Wide through the third quarter. Ag Commissioner Mike Strain says Louisiana exported billions of dollars of petroleum, chemicals and food to countries worldwide. The value of products exported from Louisiana totals $27.4 billion which is the second-highest dollar value on record for Louisiana's third-quarter exports of goods. Strain says that there is a worldwide demand for Louisiana products and he doesn't see that changing. Strain says that China, Mexico and Japan are some of our biggest trading partners.
