Thanksgiving tables across south Louisiana this November will be filled with dirty bird jokes.

That's because the New Orleans Saints will host their hated rival, the Atlanta Falcons, on Thanksgiving night, according to Jeff Duncan of The Times-Picayune.

Kickoff from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome is set for 7:20 on November 22nd, as the game will be nationally televised on NBC.

An intense rivalry among the fan bases, its been featured on the national stage a lot in recent years. In the last eleven seasons, the rivals have met on the primetime stage nine times. Next season will make it ten in a dozen years.

Duncan is also reporting the Saints will be in primetime on Thursday night in week 13, one week after their Thanksgiving matchup with the Falcons.

New Orleans will visit Dallas to battle the Cowboys on November 29th, in a game nationally televised by FOX.

The full NFL schedule will be released tonight at 7:00 as the Saints learn the dates and times of their 2018 season.
