Republican Conference In New Orleans

One of the GOP's largest national meetings is underway in New Orleans.  The three-day Republican Leadership Conference opened yesterday with an address by former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich.  The "Times-Picayune" says Gingrich vowed to lead an election that would "end the 80-year rule of the left in the United States."
