Today camp and home owners will be allowed to return to Grand Isle to survey damage to their properties.  Bob Sevin, one of those home owners and a member of the Grand Isle Port Commission joined 'Mornings With Ken and Bernie' to describe his planned trip.  Sevin said part of the trip will be an escorted one because the only road into Grand Isle has structural damage reducing traffic to one lane in five locations.

Sevin has been told by neighbors that his home has a foot and a half of standing water inside.  According to Sevin this has happened before,

"Katrina was a big mess.  It took us months to clean up after Katrina.  The other two storms that effected us were not as bad as Katrina.  We didn't have to rip out walls and electric wiring."
