Rick Chargois Explains Why He Is Seeking To Be The Next Lafayette Parish Sheriff

Rick Chargois, a former Louisiana State Police trooper, joined "Acadiana's Morning News" with Brandon Comeaux and Bernadette Lee on Tuesday morning to talk about his reasons for running to be the next Sheriff of Lafayette Parish.

Chargois says he believes his experience in so many different compacities with Louisiana State Police make him uniquely qualified to hold the office.

Chargois says this is his Oath,

"I believe Lafayette Parish is a beautiful, vibrant and growing community for all to enjoy, raise our families, and grow our businesses. However, we also have growing issues which now require leadership and experience at the helm of the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office!"
