Road Closures Beginning Sunday In St. Martin Parish

From Sunday until Thursday (Jan. 6-10), LA 347 (Grand Point Highway) will see various road closures.

• Exit ramp at LA 347 WESTBOUND will be closed to allow a traffic transfer from the existing detour exit ramp to the newly constructed concrete exit ramp and restriping on the ramp. This will last from 8 PM Sunday until 6 AM Monday, weather permitting.
• LA 347 - in BOTH DIRECTIONS - will be closed NIGHTLY under the I-10 overpass in Henderson to allow the contractor to remove the I-10 concrete deck and to replace the steel girder over LA 347. This will happen Monday through Thursday from 8 PM until 6 AM each night.NORTHBOUND TRAFFIC along with the I-10 westbound traffic will be detoured to I-10 East to Butte La Rose and then back on I-10 West to either the LA 347 exit or continue on I-10 westbound.

  SOUTHBOUND TRAFFIC along with the I-10 eastbound traffic will be detoured to I-10 West to LA 328 (Rees Street) in Breaux Bridge and then back on I-10 East to either the LA 347 exit or continue on I-10 eastbound.
