Road Closures In Acadiana For Week Of February 23-28

There are some road closures happening in different parts of Acadiana during the week of February 22-28.

In the city of Broussard, the left lane of U.S. 90 West (northbound) at the railroad overpass will be closed beginning Sunday, Feb. 22 until Wednesday, Feb. 25, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. to install temporary sheet piles. Oversized loads will not be permitted to pass through the work zone during these times and must use alternate routes that include La. 89, La. 182, La. 352 and La. 31.

In the city of New Iberia, Gilbert Street between West End Rentals and Field Street will be closed on Monday, February 23 until further notice.

In the city of Lafayette, Girard Park Drive between S. College Road and Pasa Drive will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, February 24 for work electrical utility infrastructure work. Detour routes will be made available.
