Road/Lane Closures Happening On I-10 From Calcasieu To West Baton Rouge Parishes Over Next 4 Days

Road/Lane closures happening in three parishes - Calcasieu, Iberville and West Baton Rouge - could cause traffic delays over the next four days.

In West Baton Rouge Parish, on Thursday and Friday, there will be intermittent lane closures happening from 9:00 a.m - 2:00 p.m. each day at the LA 1 & Avenue G intersection as DOTD personnel performs re-striping work. The closure will be Avenue G from the railroad tracks to LA 1.

In Iberville Parish, beginning at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, I-10 Eastbound from LA 3000 to the Iberville Parish line will have single lane closures happening there as crews patch the roadway. This road work is expected to last until 6:00 on Monday.

In Calcasieu parish, from 7:00 a.m. until 12:00 a.m. on Sunday, I-10 Eastbound Exit ramp at Milepost 25 (Lake Charles Loop) will be closed for guardrail repair. DOTD officials say I-10 Eastbound through lanes will remain open.
