Road/Lane Closures Scheduled For Lafayette Parish Week Of June 28 – July 4

As of now, there are two separate road/lane closures scheduled to happen in Lafayette Parish, weather permitting.

First, on Sunday between 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., the inside left turn lanes on U.S. 90 West and East (north and southbound), at its intersection with Alberston Parkway/St. Nazaire Road in Broussard, will be closed to drivers. During this time, you will only be allowed to make thru and right turn movements from U.S. 90 onto Albertson Parkway/St. Nazaire Road. This closure is happening because crews need to relocate the existing signal box, which means traffic signals at this intersection will not function for the entire day. There will be law enforcement in the area to assist and monitor traffic.

Beginning at 7 a.m. Monday and lasting until 5 p.m. Thursday, Rue Chavaniac at Kaliste Saloom Road will be closed for water/sewer infrastructure construction. There will be detour routes made available.
