Roadwork To Hit Well-Known Lafayette Intersections This Month

Some roadwork involving some major streets in Lafayette will be taking place over the following weeks.

From Monday until Friday, September 27, the following intersections will have intermittent closures to allow crews to install new signals as part of an ongoing project: Johnston Street at Goudchaux Drive, Johnston Street at Foreman Drive, Johnston Street at Cajundome Boulevard, Pinhook Road at Corporate Boulevard and Ambassador Caffery Parkway at Kaliste Saloom Road. This will happen each day from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., weather permitting. There will be no detours.

There are no vehicle restrictions. Emergency vehicles will have access to the area.  No detour is necessary for this work.
