Rob Kirkpatrick Joins Acadiana’s Morning News
Rob Kirkpatrick joins Bernadette Lee as permanent co-host of Acadiana’s Morning News weekdays 6a-9a starting on Tuesday, March 8th.
Rob came to Townsquare Media last year after stints at CNN in Atlanta and FOX in Dallas.
Working in the fast-paced world of breaking news as it happened all over the world really prepared me to serve you. Both jobs and cities taught me so much, but the time away showed me that my heart has always really been here in Louisiana. It is here that I made most of my best friends. It’s where I met my wife and where we are thrilled to raise our two little girls.
Rob is a proud graduate of UL Lafayette and an active member of the UL Lafayette Department of Communication/Broadcasting Board of Advisors.
News is in Rob's blood and he’s thrilled to bring KPEL to further prominence as a leading news source in Acadiana. He previously worked for KATC-TV in Lafayette.
