Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood refused chemotherapy for his lung cancer, saying "This hair isn't going anywhere." The Guardian reports, he was diagnosed earlier this year, following a routine checkup. The 70-year-old Wood smoked for more than 50 years before quitting just a few months ago. He underwent surgery, and says he feels great. Wood plans to return to the road with the Rolling Stones in a matter of weeks. He went on to say, "I was bloody lucky but then I’ve always had a very strong guardian angel looking out for me. By rights I shouldn’t be here.” My brother, Doug smoked for 50 years, and got lung cancer. He's ashes now.
