Rouses Wants Law Enforcement Officers To Have Lunch On Them This Friday

In a gesture of goodwill and respect, Rouses Markets across the entire Gulf Coast will be serving free lunch and a drink to any law enforcement officers who enter their stores between 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

"We have tremendous respect for the men and women who protect and serve everyday," said Donny Rouse, managing partner of his family's grocery, to nola.com. "This is just one way we are showing our support in the wake of the recent tragic shootings."

The lunch will contain white beans, fried catfish and vegetables, as well as a free fountain drink or 20 oz. bottled water or soft drink.

As you can see below, this is not the first time Rouses has shown respect and support for law enforcement officers.
