KIEV, Ukraine (AP) — Members of Russia's state aviation body will try to visit the site where Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 crashed two weeks ago.

An agency spokesman says a delegation of Russian specialists is due in Kiev today to take part in the investigation.

He says they'll try to reach the site in pro-Russia-controlled territory in eastern Ukraine if it's safe to do so, and they'll hand over any relevant material to the Dutch delegation.

Continued fighting has hindered an international delegation's access to the crash site for several days now.
