RUSTON, La. (AP) — Ruston High School football players will have a new facility to work in this fall.

The Daily Leader reports (http://bit.ly/NkP1ew ) equipment was being moved into more than 100 lockers at the new 19,000 square-foot field house this past week.

The building is named after coach Jimmy "Chick" Childress.

The school's football coach and athletic director, Billy Laird, said the old field house had been in use since 1952 and was around 1,000 square feet in size.
