The New Orleans Saints are back in action on Sunday, when they play host to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in an NFC South match-up.

Kickoff time at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans is scheduled for noon, and you can hear all the play-by-play action on ESPN 1420, as well as 97.3 The Dawg.

The Saints fell to the Dallas Cowboys last week, 38-17, dropping them to 1-3 on the season, while the Buccaneers defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers, 27-24, to improve to 1-3.

New Orleans leads the all-time series, 27-17, and have outscored Tampa Bay, 949-790, in the 44 match-ups between the two franchises, with the two teams splitting a pair of games last year.

Offensively, the Saints are averaging 23.8 points, 425.8 total yards, 294.5 passing yards, and 131.3 rushing yards-per-game.

New Orleans is led by quarterback Drew Brees, who has thrown for 1,203 yards and seven touchdowns, running back Khiry Robinson, who has accumulated 215 rushing yards with one touchdown on 40 touches, and tight end Jimmy Graham, who has compiled 3040 receiving yards, along with three touchdowns, on 32 catches.

The Buccaneers, offensively, are averaging 18.0 points, 290.8 total yards, 194.3 passing yards, and 96.5 rushing yards a contest.

Tampa Bay is paced by quarterback Mike Glennon, who has passed for 423 yards and three touchdowns, running back Bobby Rainey, who has rushed for 199 yards, and receiver Mike Evans, who has 17 receptions for 203 yards and one touchdown.

Defensively, the Saints are giving up an average of 396.0 yards-per-game, which ranks 28th in the league, while the Buccaneers are allowing 387.8, which ranks 26th.

The game opens a stretch of games in which the Saints will play three of their next five games on the road.

The Saints will be idle the following week, before returning to play two of their next three games on the road.
