The New Orleans Saints made a number of roster moves on Monday.

Among them, the team received a roster exemption for receiver Willie Snead, whose three-game suspension for an alcohol-related incident in June has ended.

Snead could be available for the Saints this Sunday, when they travel to London to face the Miami Dolphins, but the exemption allows them to keep another player on the 53-man roster, until they decide to activate Snead.

The 24-year old Snead has accumulated 141 catches for 1,879 yards and 7 touchdowns over the past two seasons, including a solid 2016 campaign, in which he caught a career-high 72 passes for 895 yards, to go along with a career-high 4 touchdowns.

After playing his college football at Ball St., where he caught 223 passes for 2,991 yards and 26 touchdowns, Snead went unselected in the 2014 NFL Draft, before signing with the Cleveland Browns as a free agent.

The 5-foot-11, 195-pound Snead made the final round of cuts with the Browns, before being released, and then was later signed to the practice squad of the Carolina Panthers, prior to joining the Saints’ practice squad in December of 2014.

Also on Monday, as expected, the Saints re-signed fullback John Kuhn, along with defensive lineman Kendall Langford, while releasing  cornerback Arthur Maulet and released offensive tackle Bryce Harris.

A 12-year veteran, Kuhn rushed for 37 yards on 18 carries last season, his only season with the Saints, while also compiling 16 receptions for 70 yards.

The 35-year old Kuhn, a former 3-time Pro Bowler, had previously been released twice this season by the Saints as a vested veteran.

The 31-year-old Langford, a third-round pick by the Miami Dolphins in 2008, spent four years in Miami, prior to playing three years with the St. Louis Rams.

The last two seasons, Lankford played for the Indianapolis Colts, compiling 10 tackles in 7 games in 2016.

The 28-year old Harris, who spent three seasons with the Saints (2012-2014) earlier in his career, spent training camp with the team before being released for the first time on September 2.

Harris was re-signed on September 4, before his second release on September 5.

The Saints later re-signed Harris twice more, prior to his release as a vested veteran on Monday.

The 6-foot-6, 300-pound Harris has appeared in 36 career games, all but one with the Saints, including 4 starts.

Maulet, a cornerback from Memphis, picked off 4 passes over the last two seasons at the school.
