The New Orleans Saints continued to make roster moves on Sunday, releasing two veterans, while signing two players off of waivers.

The team released defensive end Darryl Tapp and fullback John Kuhn, while signing quarterback Taysom Hill and receiver Austin Carr off waivers.

The 32-year old Tapp, an 11-year veteran, played one season for the Saints, totaling 17 tackles in 16 games, including two starts, last season.

Last year, Tapp was among the cuts leading up to the initial 53-man roster, but after being released that Saturday, he re-signed with the team Monday.

That may be the case this year with Kuhn, who is expected to re-sign with the Saints soon.

A 12-year veteran, Kuhn isn't exposed to the waiver wire, and is likely to rejoin the Saints after they place cornerback Delvin Breaux on injured reserve with designation for return.

The 27-year old Hill, whom the Green Bay Packers waived Saturday, entered the league in May as an undrafted free agent out of BYU.

The 6-foot-2, 221-pound Hill threw for 6,929 yards and 43 touchdowns in college.

Carr, whom the New England Patriots waived Saturday as part of the roster trimmings around the league, entered the league in May as an undrafted free agent out of Northwestern.

The 6-foot-1, 195-pound Carr caught 116 passes for 1,649 yards and 14 touchdowns in college.
