After resigning Luke McCown last week, the New Orleans Saints have added another veteran backup quarterback to their roster, agreeing to a one-year deal with veteran Seneca Wallace.

Wallace was out of football last season, unable to catch on with a team. He played for the Cleveland Browns in 2010 and 2011. Before that, he spent his career in Seattle as a backup with the Seahawks. The 32-year old has a similar build to Drew Brees, standing 5'11, weighing in at 205 pounds.

Under Sean Payton, New Orleans has generally kept two quarterbacks on the active 53-man roster, while occasionally bringing up a young backup from the practice squad for a few games each season. Being that neither Wallace nor McCown is eligible for the practice squad, the two will likely battle it out in training camp and the preseason to determine who earns a roster spot as Drew Brees' backup.
