The New Orleans Saints added a familiar name to their practice squad on Tuesday.

The team re-signed rookie cornerback Arthur Maulet to the practice squad after he cleared waivers, continuing his time with the organization.

A native of Kenner, New Orleans waived Maulet on Monday, after he appeared on special teams for the Saints in their 34-13 win over the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.

The 22-year old Maulet signed with the Saints as an undrafted free agent following the 2017 NFL Draft.

Maulet played his college football at Memphis, where he compiled 73 tackles, including 57 solo stops, to go along with 7.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, and two interceptions as a senior in 2016.

The Saints return to action on Sunday, when they travel to London to face the Miami Dolphins.
