The New Orleans Saints waived safety Vinnie Sunseri and defensive end Tavaris Barnes today.

Barnes was signed as an undrafted free agent last year, playing in 12 games.

Sunseri was a fifth-round draft pick by New Orleans in 2014. The only remaining player on the Saints active roster from the 2014 draft is first round pick Brandin Cooks.

Second round pick Stanley-Jean Baptiste is currently on the Seattle Seahawks practice squad. He was previously waived by the Saints, cleared waivers, and signed with Detroit's practice squad before the Lions waived him.

Fourth round pick Khairi Fortt was waived in October of his rookie season. He spent time on Cincinnati and Jacksonville's practice squads but was cut from both.

Ronald Powell was also selected in the fifth round by New Orleans, but was waived last year before clearing waivers and being placed on IR.

Sixth round pick Tavon Rooks never made the active roster, spending time on the Saints, Cardinals and Chiefs practice squads and is no longer in the league after suffering a heart attack during practice with Kansas City.
