The injury bug is beginning to gnaw away at the New Orleans Saints lately. Need proof? Take a look at Wednesday's injury report.

Five main cogs in the Saints success missed practice entirely Wednesday. The list of five includes the following: All-Pro tight end Jimmy Graham (foot), All-Pro right guard Jahri Evans (hip), defensive end Cam Jordan (ankle), linebacker David Hawthorne (toe), and safety Malcolm Jenkins (knee). Of those 5, only Jenkins missed last Sunday's game versus the Jets.

Two more key starters were limited in practice in rookie safety Kenny Vaccarro (chest), and wide receiver Marques Colston (knee). Colston missed Sunday's game with the nagging knee injury.

On a positive note, Saints running back Darren Sproles (pictured) was back fully at practice today, after missing the majority of the last game. Sproles was knocked out of the Jets game after the first play from scrimmage when he took a shot to the head. He was tested for concussions, and never returned. Him practicing fully today is an indication that he's cleared all concussion protocol, and bearing any setbacks in practice, should be ready for Sunday night's home game with the Dallas Cowboys.

Five more players practiced fully, but were listed on the injury report. The list includes the following: tight end Josh Hill (foot), defensive end Tyrunn Walker (Knee), defensive tackle Tom Johnson (Hip), linebacker Curtis Lofton (Hamstring), and safety Roman Harper (Knee).

New Orleans (6-2) hosts Dallas (5-4) Sunday night with a 7:30 kickoff. Catch all the in-game action on ESPN1420, as well as the two hour pregame show, the postgame show, and "The Point After" with Bobby Hebert and Deke Belevia.
