This one is for real: if the FCC repeals Net Neutrality, you will probably end up paying more for certain things on the internet.

Let me explain: as it stands, the internet is considered a public utility, much like electricity and water. With Net Neutrality everyone has the same access to whatever is on the internet. If the FCC repeals Net Neutrality, it will allow internet companies to slow down and/or limit access to the internet.

To keep the internet open to all, call your representative and ask him or her to leave Net Neutrality in place.

For more information, this Reddit post explains what is at stake.

Here's an easy way to contact your representative, along with a script to help you in case you get tongue-tied.
