If you're a high school graduate and plan on making a career in the game development, 3D animation, or visual effects industries, you may be able to attend the Academy of Interactive Entertainment at the Louisiana Immersive Technologies Enterprise in Lafayette.

A variety of scholarships are available for potential students, including needs-based scholarships for those who may not have the financial freedom to further their education.

"The scholarships provided by this non-profit organization are an outreach to the community aimed at encouraging the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs," the organization says in a release to the media.

The Australian-based non-profit organization, which has campuses in Seattle, Wash. and Lafayette, La., is a two year training college that offers courses in game art, design, programming, film, 3D design, and visual effects.

Visit www.theaie.us/scholarships for a scholarship application and for more information on the organization.
