Scott Drug Dealer Sentence For Selling Cocaine Over A Ten-Year Period

Nearly 16 years in prison. That's what Jessie Alfred of Scott was given earlier this week for his role in a drug trafficking group based out of Lafayette. Prosecutor Stephanie Finley says Alfred worked for the Winters' organization, dealing cocaine from 1996 through 2005. Alfred was also sentenced to five years of probation.
